Itineraries
Day 1
Colombo / Kandy
Meet and greet by Serendipity Tours representative and leave for the hotel in Kandy. En route, make a stop at Pinnawala elephant garden.
ELEPHANT ORPHANAGE
Elephant orphanage of Pinnawala provides a safe place for sick, wounded and orphan elephants found in the jungle. Elephants at the orphanage have a well-maintained routine life, and visitors are allowed to see these jumbos in freedom. Next, Spice Gardens.
KANDY
Kandy is a beautiful city with colonial charm. Kandy is the cultural center of Sri Lanka, where the culture and tradition are still well maintained. Kandy was an important seat of administration during the British colonial era. British-Ceylon administrators have added much colonial-styled building to the city.
You will check-in the hotel before noon and have leisure before starting with the Kandy city tour in the afternoon. The city tour includes activities such as visiting the tooth relic temple, the Kandyan cultural show, downtown Kandy, the gem museum, etc. The Kandy City tour will last between 4-5 hours.

Kandy / Sigiriya / Kandy
Have a leisurely breakfast and then journey to Sigiriya and Dambulla temple. On the return journey, visit a Spice Garden Matale.
SIGIRIYA ROCK
This is one of the most attractive tourist attractions, dating back to the 5th century. It is also a UNESCO world heritage site. You will spend 2 hours at the site while exploring the hundreds of ruins and paintings while taking a glimpse into the beautiful landscape.
BAMBULLA CAVETEMPLE
Dambulla Cave Temple hides hundreds of Buddha statues and paintings. The temple has been a UNESCO world heritage site since 1995. The temple attracts a large number of visitors every day. It is one of the oldest cave temples in the world, dating back to 1st century BC.
SPICE GARDEN
Spices are a very valuable commodity in the country and have been exported to many countries since very early days. Here you can see a large number of spices in their natural habitat. See the various products, such as Ayurveda medicine prepared using various spices. Here you can buy unblended spices and Ayurveda products for very affordable prices. Next, proceed to Kandy.

Kandy / Nuwara Eliya / Bentota
Have a leisurely breakfast and then journey to Nuwara Eliya on the winding mountain road. En route, visit the Botanical Garden. Tea factory. You will be stopping at the Ramboda plateau in order to have a closer look into one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the mountains.
BOTANICAL GARDEN PERADENIYA
A few minutes after starting the journey, you will reach Peradeniya botanical garden, which is the first stop for the day. Peradeniya botanical garden is the most beautiful botanical garden in the country. It was founded by the Kandyan kings in the 16th century. Later, it was developed into a botanical garden by British colonial administrators of Ceylon.
TEA FACTORY
Visit a tea factory and tea estate, where you are allowed to take a look into the tea production at the factory. Don’t forget to sip a cup of fresh Ceylon tea.
NUWARA ELIYA
Nuwara Eliya is the most popular hill country holiday destination in the country. It was developed as a place for a holiday during the British colonial era. Being a city well above 1800 meters from the sea level, It has a healing climate, and the temperature is recorded around 15°C most of the time in the year. The city is surrounded by mountains and tea plantations. You can expect a very scenic drive from Kandy, and plenty of awe-inspiring scenery is awaiting the travelers.

Bentota
After breakfast leave for a Bentota sightseeing tour.
En-route visit Bentota beach, sea turtle conservation project and Madu river estuary. In the afternoon leisure in the beach resort.

Bentota / Colombo
After the leisurely breakfast leave for Colombo airport. However, if you opt for a beach stay with Serendipity tour after the trips, you will be dropped into the beach resort. However, the departure location can be customized to meet your requirements.
The entire journey will take places along the southern and western coastal belt and it allows you to enjoy the beautiful scenery along the beach.
